5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (May 6)

Downs...

5. RAW Recap Was A Step Too Far

In an episode already stuffed to the brim with pre-recorded segments, and the obligatory Marine 4 tv spot, did the NXT audience really need a RAW Recap? While there's no doubt that Sami Zayn's appearance on Monday in front of a rabid Montreal crowd was one of the RAW highlights of the year so far, do the WWE not know who their NXT audience are? They're hardcore fans, dedicated to the sport. They're the internet forum diehards, watching NXT in order to clue themselves in on the future of the company to which they already dedicate so many viewing hours. Do WWE really think that anyone watching NXT hadn't already seen that moment? This would be a tiny gripe had there been more wrestling on last night's show, but considering that little NXT only gets allocated an hour of WWE's schedules per week, seeing RAW muscle its way into NXT's running time is more than a little frustrating.
