5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 25)

3. Shield Minus One

It’s damn near impossible to figure WWE “logic” out these days. We got a dose of it right away in the opening segment.

After Roman Reigns’ emotional announcement, he was joined at the top of the ramp by Seth Rollins. The two embraced and stood there, soaking in cheers.

And then Raw went to commercial.

Wait, someone was missing. Where the hell was Dean Ambrose? The line is that he’s leaving WWE in the coming weeks or months, but he’s still under contract, still appearing on Raw (he showed up a half-hour later on the program) and still a former member of The Shield.

So why hold him back right there? WWE isn’t trying to force him to be a heel any longer. In fact, he basically mocked the idea last week when he asked Rollins why he didn’t bail him out. Later, when Rollins and Reigns saved Ambrose, they left him in the ring and only looked at him from afar.

It’s just a weird decision.
