5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 13)

4. Cross Gets UK Win

Mark you calendars. Monday was the first time we saw Nikki Cross on Raw or SmackDown since WrestleMania, and what’s weirder, Cross even noted it by observing that no one had noticed she had been around for four weeks.

But rather than leave it at a random backstage segment, Cross got “duped” into taking Alexa Bliss’ spot in a fatal four-way match (“duped” because she smirked afterward, as if she knew she was grabbing a spotlight). And then, Nikki went on to steal the match (though the Scotland native likely was getting some love from the Brits), pulling off the win.

It was a pretty good official debut for Cross, who really has been the forgotten person of all the NXT callups the past six months.

The only disappointing part (aside from the long delay) is that Nikki didn’t try to parlay the win into a spot in the women’s Money in the Bank match.
