3. ‘Beacon Of Hope’

Just to further illustrate how backwards WWE is getting it with Roman Reigns, they showed a video Monday night that they should have aired shortly after he returned nearly three months ago.

The video, which Michael Cole said showed how Reigns has become a “beacon of hope,” detailed Roman’s journey from FCW to NXT to WWE, his leukemia diagnosis and all the well-wishes and interviews he did about his journey back to action. It was a well-done video… that should have aired in February or March.

It just doesn’t make sense to do this now. It feels more like WWE brass felt like fan support for Roman was waning, so they had to remind everyone of his trials and tribulations. Otherwise, why would they be doing a “road back to WWE video” three months after he returned?
