5. Dull In-Ring Action

This column could pick apart individual matches for being short, boring or instantly forgettable, but let's just couch all of the together: The in-ring action Monday night on whole was subpar.

There were eight matches on Raw, with the tag team turmoil match really consisting of four shorter matches. Three matches lasted three minutes or less, and a couple of the longer matches (Alexa Bliss/Mickie James, Finn Balor/Miz) were either dull or more of the paint-by-numbers variety. If you're the type of wrestling fan who looks forward to the matches for entertainment, then you can watch the Seth Rollins/Samoa Joe bout and the tag team turmoil contest for your fill.

Not every episode of Raw can produce classic matches, but when so much of the episode falls flat, a lack of quality wrestling stands out even more.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
