5 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Extreme Rules 2015

3. Rematches Abound

In recent years, Extreme Rules has become home to multiple WrestleMania rematches. This year€™s event featured two: Seth Rollins versus Randy Orton and John Cena versus Rusev. However, it looks like Payback is going to be one big repeat of Extreme Rules €“ and that€™s not exactly a good thing. Cena versus Rusev already was announced for Payback as an €œI Quit€ match, the fourth straight PPV bout between the two. Rollins and Orton ended in confusion, so that likely to happen again next month. Naomi lost her title match due to Brie Bella€™s interference, so it wouldn€™t be shocking to see her get a rematch against Nikki Bella. Roman Reigns and Big Show should be done their feud, but it wouldn€™t be surprising to see it continue. Sheamus reneged on his stipulation despite losing, so we probably will see another match between him and Dolph Ziggler. And it wouldn€™t be out of the realm of possibility to see Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper actually have a match that stays within the arena. While it€™s unlikely that all of these matches will take place again at Payback, keep in mind that the next PPV is just three weeks away, so it will be a very short build, thus making it likely that several of these rematches will happen. You have to ask, why would someone who got Extreme Rules for free on the WWE Network pay $9.99 for the same matches for Payback?
