One of the regular bright spots on Raw for the past several months has been anytime the women have a match. It might not be the best bout on the show, but it has been pretty dependable for and enjoyable time.

But Monday’s tag match pitting Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax against Sasha Banks and Bayley was anything but. The bout was clumsy, with the women looking lost at times and fumbling through the moves. It wasn’t anything you would expect from three of the vaunted NXT Four Horsewomen.

The match ended on a strong note, with Nia taking out both Sasha and Bayley, but it was largely a clunker in getting to that conclusion. Let’s hope that the women had the jitters or just couldn’t get on the same page. Things happen, but this was an unusually big misstep for the women’s division.
