50 Absolute Worst Things WWE Has Done In The 21st Century
7. Kurt Angle Wants “Bestiality Sex” (2005)

Pop quiz: What's worse than Kurt Angle bowing out in a naff retirement loss to Baron Corbin? Kurt Angle stalking Booker T's wife Sharmell and saying he wants "bestiality sex" with her, of course. That 2005 plot point was highly unnecessary, and it had to be more than a tad uncomfortable for everyone involved. Sure, these people are professionals and get what WWE's brand of entertainment is, but...come on!
The words, "bestiality sex" have no place in a wrestling promo. Ever.
Bestiality (right, that's plenty use of the word!) is when a human being engages in sexual activity with an animal, if you didn't know. If that was you, then sorry. Now you know, and you probably wish you didn't. Basically, Angle was calling Sharmell an animal to degrade her, and WWE's writers weren't finished with the preposterous claims. They'd go on to have Kurt allege that Sharmell fondled his private parts when Booker wasn't around.
Book beat Kurt at Judgment Day '05, then again on an episode of SmackDown in June to close out their feud. It'd been an unsatisfying one rife with awkward encounters, claims of sexual harassment and more. It's also pretty poor that this turned out to be one of Angle's final major storylines before leaving WWE and heading to TNA.
A few years later, Kurt and Booker were in the Main Event Mafia together and most had forgotten all the "bestiality sex" chat from the WWE days. Let's just assume this is one story Angle would really rather leave in the past. It's the kind of thing that'd make wrestling fans cringe.
