1. Big Show Meets Floyd Mayweather (No Way Out 2008)

Almost exactly a decade on, No Way Out 2008 is perhaps still the gold standard for non-wrestling wrestling segments. It featured a heated confrontation between a debuting Floyd Mayweather and a returning Big Show, the result of which was an almost passable match a month later at the Show of Shows.

The beauty of this moment is that it looked more authentic than your normal wrestling fare. Show took the sensible step of derisively getting down on one knee and putting his hands behind his back, which meant you didn't have to suspend your disbelief too much when the 5'8" boxing star managed to land a few punches.

Mayweather didn't hold back either. In fact, he hit the World's Largest Athlete so hard that he reportedly broke his nose for real - which probably explains why the latter proceeded to chase after him with such rabid zeal (even overtaking many of the Money entourage in the process).

We'll deduct points for the wooden acting in the beginning (did anyone really believe that Mayweather was genuinely concerned for the welfare of apparent new best bud Rey Mysterio?). But, other than that, it was all brilliantly done; the sort of thing that leaves you wondering where kayfabe ends and reality begins.
