6 Biggest Missed Opportunities From WWE Fastlane 2019

1. Ronda's Interference

Becky Lynch's long-awaited chance to fight her way into the WrestleMania main event ended in a disqualification after Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, made her presence felt and delivered a single punch to the 'Lass Kicker'. An intentional DQ that handed Lynch the opportunity she longed for because, as we all know by now, Rousey wanted her to be a part of that match. So as far as Rousey goes, this was perfect. The only problem is that this wasn't about her.

The match against Charlotte Flair was Becky Lynch's chance to get one-up on the authority figures who took her opportunity away from her while proving herself as she clawed her way back into the WrestleMania main event on one leg. Instead, the people's champion ended up with a cheap shortcut into the coveted match that suggested that she actually may have tapped out to Charlotte had the Raw Women's Champion not interfered.

It also didn't feel that convincing because, let's face it, Vince could have easily undone it if he'd wanted to - but he won't and we'll be expected to buy that what happens in the ring is final even though countless matches have been restarted when there was far less riding on them.

This was just problematic on all counts and felt like yet another way to overbook this already drawn-out and confusing saga.
