On Instagram he posted;

This was an interesting callout. First, Baroni says "Call Coker" - referring to Bellator president Scott Coker. However, Bellator reportedly cut Baroni in August after he posted comments in support of alleged abuser and attempted murderer War Machine, a former Bellator fighter who also appeared on the UFC's Ultimate Fighter. War Machine was being sought after assaulting his ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, and a male companion after finding them in bed together. Baroni had publicly shown support for the fighter, and then posted he'd been cut because of his comments. In short, his callout of Punk may have simply been his way of trying to talk himself back into a job.
