This callout wasn't just out of left field, it was out of this universe: the former Green Power Ranger, Jason David Frank, has called out CM Punk it what has to be one of the most bizarre attempts at booking a match either. Frank actually has fought in a handful of pro MMA bouts, amassing a record of 4-0 as an amateur and 1-0 as a pro, with all fights coming back in 2010. And it should be noted that he finished all five bouts with a mix of submissions and knockouts. On the plus side, he does fit the mold for the inexperienced fighter the UFC wants to pair Punk up against. On the downside, he hasn't fought since 2010, is 41, and the fight would be seen as a freakshow. Frank had this to say about the bout, and admitted that he was in part trying to get the UFC's attention;
I like CM, this is just a professional call out again. This is my life and I deserve a shot at this. Haters hate, winners win. It's a great fight, embrace, don't hate.
