2. Cathal Pendred
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-xSpNHD0pA Cathal Pendred, a teammate of Conor McGregor who appeared on season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter, didn't just call out CM Punk - he insinuated he was getting the first crack at the pro wrestler. First, Pendred had this to say after Punk's signing, from Twitter;
Every UFC middleweight will be calling out CM Punk now. Damn! I'll call him out!! #MassiveOpportunity
However, later, he made it sound like a bout between them was a done deal. On December 10th, 2014, he posted that;
This punk is going to be 'one & done' in the UFC. It looks like I will be that one. #JustWonTheLottery
This would be an interesting bout that could easily co-headline a major event. Pendred has a bit of name recognition from TUF and his association with Conor McGregor, the UFC's fastest rising star. However, there would be a vast experience difference as Pendred has fifteen plus professional MMA bouts - so take what Pendred says here with a grain of salt.
