6 HUGE WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Predictions You Need To Know

3. CM Punk Retains (Dominik Mysterio Runs In)

The most obvious play in the World Heavyweight Title clash between CM Punk and Finn Bálor is the ever-pesky Dominik Mysterio running out to 'try and help his Judgment Day pal'. Of course, that'd go pear shaped and lead to Dom Dom costing Finn the chance to win the big gold then live out his WrestleMania 42 dreams.

That way, WWE could get to a JD implosion and Intercontinental Title match between Mysterio and Bálor on either night in Vegas. That'd be a snappy undercard attraction for the Saturday or Sunday, and it'd give both guys something worthwhile to do. They've been teasing friction for a long, long time now anyway.

Prediction follow up: Punk is steaming mad about Dominik rushing out and offers Finn a rematch (thus concluding their trilogy) on a coming episode of Raw. He also vows to punish Dominik once he's finished tangling with Roman Reigns at 'Mania, which teases a forthcoming feud the creative team can use to elevate Mysterio during the typically lean post-WrestleMania months.

It really is win-win despite this match being more of an exhibition than anything meaty.

Even Liv Morgan should be miffed at Dom for wrecking Finn's ambitions, but she'd clearly be on his side more than Bálor's to reflect the Irishman's lost seniority in Judgment Day. Once Finn and Mysterio have taken their drama behind the curtain, one CM Punk can still celebrate with his adoring public in Chicago.

Well, he can celebrate for around a minute or so before someone special makes his mark.
