Out of nine appearances inside Hell in a Cell, , Triple H has won six. These came against Cactus Jack at No Way Out in 2000, Chris Jericho at Judgement Day in 2002, Kevin Nash at Bad Blood in 2003, Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood in 2004, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Big Show at Unforgiven in 2006, and Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase at Hell in a Cell in 2009. This gives Triple H a winning percentage of 66%.

Triple H makes it to the top of this list by tying The Undertaker’s six impressive victorious in three fewer appearances.

His first win was arguably his most brutal, as he went head-to-head with Cactus Jack, forcing the man into retirement. He would find himself in the cell against Chris Jericho at Judgement Day 2002, where he defeated the Ayotollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla. The following year, he would topple his former friend Kevin Nash to retain the World Championship at Bad Blood in 2003.

Triple H’s next most memorable cell moment came at Bad Blood in 2004, where he finished off his long-running singles rivalry against Shawn Michaels in a bloody encounter that saw tables, ladder and chairs in action. HBK put up a valiant effort, but in the end, with the aid of Batista and Ric Flair, Triple H walked out with the World Heavyweight Title, his fourth victory inside the cell.

Triple H would find himself in the cell with Shawn Michaels yet again at Unforgiven merely two years later, this time together as part of the reunited D-Generation X, with the odds stacked against them in a three-on-two handicap match against Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and The Big Show.

The two would then defeat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in another gruelling tag-team Hell in a Cell match in 2009.

When it comes to Hell in a Cell, The Game is in a class of his own.
