6 Reasons Dean Ambrose Could Become The New CM Punk
2. His Unpredictability Makes Every Appearance Must-See
The moment to moment changes in Ambrose's attitude are reminiscent of another superstar. One that had a lot of tattoos and was famous for his Pipe Bombs. Like Ambrose has been doing lately, Punk could always could stand on the razor's edge when it came to any situation. And before him, it was "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Wrestling fans in today's culture are far more fickle than fans of the past. In the 1980's it was always a clear-cut battle between good and bad. Hulk Hogan was always there to protect everyone from evil-doers. And guys like Ted DiBiase were always there to be the scheming villainous foil. But Austin sincerely changed the perception of what is good and what is bad. Suddenly attacking your boss was ok. Dropping taboo curse words became commonplace. And the always reliable hero became stale. Even Hogan eventually shunned his adoring Hulkamaniacs and joined the nWo. And just as Hogans shocking turn was an industry changing event, the level of unpredictability to everything that Ambrose does, could make for more heavily talked about moment in the future. And while we might not be talking about Pipe Bombs anymore, there could potentially be a great deal more of the ravings of a lunatic to come in the immediate future.
