6 Reasons WWE Fans Won't Miss Batista While He's Gone

1. It Will Allow Others To Step Up

Batista did not return to WWE in the midcard. He was a main eventer immediately partly because he's been in that spot before and management likely felt that he deserved to be in that spot again. He main evented the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania 30 and Payback, so three of his five PPV matches went on last. He was given a significant amount of TV time on Raw and Smackdown over the last five months as well. His absence is going to open up a lot of TV time for others in WWE. We have already seen WWE elevate Seth Rollins as one of the key Shield members that turned face and will be a part of the Evolution group going forward whether they keep that name or not. Guys like Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Bad News Barrett, Rusev and other midcard heels are going to receive more TV time that they have to capitalize on because the time is now for all of them. Batista will be back within a few months and Brock Lesnar will be too. They need to do everything they can to make an impression while the opportunity is there. The current WWE roster is loaded with young talent. Will they miss Batista? Probably not. He wasn't performing at a really high level and the roster is deep enough that they will be able to fill the gaps rather easily.
