6 Recent Times WWE Taught Us That Friendship Means Nothing

4. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper

For a charismatic cult leader-type character, Bray Wyatt is terribly unsuccessful at maintaining his followers. However, it's natural: as with any faction, there is always going to be a point where one or more members turn their backs on the head and go their separate ways.

Luke Harper was the most loyal of Wyatt's charges. He had been with Bray since the NXT days, siding with him not long after the "arrival" of Wyatt, and it seemed no person would ever come between them.

A person didn't. But something did. A snake.

Wyatt's welcoming Randy Orton into the family proved to be the final straw for the strained relationship between Bray and his most trusted buzzard follower. Harper was always lurking just on the periphery of The Wyatt Family, viewed by many as a potential breakout star, but all he was interested in was doing the bidding of his master.

We could all be so lucky to have a giant, sweat-stained bearded man willing to do our bidding at the slightest request.

Alas, Harper had the foresight to recognize 'The Viper' as a snake in the grass, and when it seemed his master had chosen Orton over him he finally broke free of Wyatt's chains - again - and struck out on his own. It was troubling to see such a constant in the life of The Family walk away, and it's become even more so now that Harper has essentially stalled out without the guidance of 'The Eater of Worlds'.
