6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (March 20 - Results & Review)

1. AEW Must Sort This Out!

AEW Rampage Ad Break
AEW

Final gripe time.

Look, everyone understands that picture-in-picture ad breaks are gonna happen on AEW programming, but they should never interrupt any important spots in a match. During the main event, Kris Statlander was trying to suplex Julia Hart through a table when the commercials rudely cut in, and things got worse from there.

Stat smashed Julia through the wood with a sweet-looking running spinebuster as an ad for iPhone hogged the screen. That's ridiculous, and it totally makes a mockery of the effort wrestlers put in to their matches. Sort this out once and for all, Tony Khan, because it honestly is amateur hour stuff.

Fans tuning in have pretty much accepted that match flow will be wrecked by pic-in-pic advertisements, but the least people expect is to see everything worthwhile a bout has to offer. That wasn't the case during the headliner, which is a real pity considering how great that table bump looked.
