6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 30)

1. Jey Falls In Line

This was that "something more".

First off, Daniel Bryan did everything in his power to make Jey look like a player during their main event. Forget the Survivor Series qualification thing, because that's back up news - this was all about Uso belonging in there with the best around. Bryan is in that category, so this was great to see.

Secondly, that post-match angle was killer. Jey, tortured by the thought of letting down the Anoa'i elders and knowing he had no choice, did Roman's bidding and acknowledged him as the leader. Then, he beat the snot out of Daniel because Reigns told him to.

Going forwards, Jey should be conflicted about doing more of this. His sudden call to "fall in line" behind Roman seems to suggest that this isn't as straightforward as the announcer claimed; there's more to this. Jey probably isn't quite full-blown heel...yet.

Brilliant TV though.
