WWE Raw LWO Judgment Day
WWE

The new incarnation of the Judgment Day originally seemed to exist only to facilitate the babyface turns of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, but a new purpose came into focus Monday night. However, that focus then quickly disappeared when the Terror Twins appeared.

The Judgment Day’s in-ring promo got interrupted by the LWO, finally back to full strength, which triggered a brawl that led to an impromptu eight-man tag match (*groan*). The match itself will receive praise later, fear not.

As soon as the match finished, Judgment Day pummeled the LWO and were threatening to put Rey Mysterio through the announce desk when Priest and Ripley ran down to make the save and even the score with their former stablemates… and the LWO suddenly disappeared. Literally. There were four of them scattered around ringside, mostly crowded around the announce desk, and they suddenly vanished, never to be mentioned again.

A feud between the new pocket-sized Judgment Day and LWO makes perfect sense given Carlito’s betrayal and the fact that the Latino World Order still hasn’t gotten their full pound of flesh. Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde would be excellent challengers for Finn Balor and JD McDonagh’s World Tag Team Championship.

Why burn this in an impromptu match (the bane of any sane person’s existence)? Having them not even around to acknowledge Priest and Ripley for the save makes them look like an afterthought, just warm bodies to have an electric match to open Raw and nothing more.
