6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (4 May - Results & Review)

Downs…

3. Tastelessness Continues

Another week with WWE releasing more wrestlers, followed by another week of Joe Hendry singing – and thereby encouraging fans to sing as well – “Fire Logan Paul.”

Regardless of how odious fans might think Paul is (in storyline or in real life), it’s just poor taste, as Logan stormed out and yelled about how TKO couldn’t fire him because it’s “bad business.” If you’re one of those wrestlers who lost their job in the past couple of weeks, it’s got to feel wonderful that the creative team is greenlighting the idea of using this to generate heat.

There’s some praise to come about the overall angle, but it’s still astonishing that the creative team has zeroed in on a “fire Logan Paul” angle while wrestlers are seemingly still being effectively fired from WWE.
