6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (4 May - Results & Review)
Ups…
6. A Perfect Contrast

Setting aside the inappropriately timed “Fire Logan Paul” song, Joe Hendry could not have a better first rivalry on the main roster than 'The Maverick'.
Hendry and Paul have taken very different routes to arrive at Monday Night Raw, but both have relied on social media to power their ascent, going viral to boost their profiles and become bonafide social media sensations.
The difference is that Hendry was a wrestler with more than a decade of experience before finding his way to WWE, while Paul waltzed in on the strength of his mainstream notoriety. Hendry is endearing; Logan is supremely irritating.
Paul played his role very well last week, and on Monday night he was left incensed by Hendry’s taunts and for firing up the audience to attack him. Logan’s histrionics worked incredibly well - during the very short match between Hendry and Austin Theory, fans loudly chanted “Logan Sucks” as he paced on the outside.
Pitting 2 guys who owe a fair amount of their WWE success to going viral against each other is a pretty clever move, and it seems to be paying off so far.
