6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (13 May)

IMPACT Wrestling find themselves in a tricky spot right now. They're still sort of reeling in the success of their Rebellion pay-per-view, while also promoting Under Siege for tomorrow night, and at the same time, the 17 July Slammiversary event. They're trying to cover a lot of base in one go, and sadly, it's resulting in rather average weekly episodes.

For every genuinely enjoyable bit on the show, there was something equally as bad. This isn't good. The company can't - or at least, shouldn't - rely on their typically stellar pay-per-views and IMPACT Plus specials to create all their hype. They must back this up on the weekly programming, too.

Last night's show at least tried to achieve this.

The two number one contender's bouts - Havok vs. Rosemary and the X Division scramble - were at opposite ends of the spectrum. Both were enjoyable, but one was just on a level above that's hard to reach. Have fun guessing which one.

Elsewhere, Willie Mack decimated Sam Beale, Sami Callihan led his team of Moose and Chris Bey to a main event victory, Eddie Edwards introduced the Super Elite to Kenny the kendo stick, and Brian Myers cheated to win. Surprise!

Let's get to it...
