6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (8 July)

2. You Can't Teach That

W. Morrissey laid waste to three enhancement talents - Jason Page, Manny Smith, and Deonte Evans - in under two minutes. He's a massive deal in IMPACT, making the mind boggle as to why WWE were never able to achieve a similar fate when he was Big Cass.

Immediately stiffing Manny with a Lariat, the seven-footer then proceeded to choke out his two other opponents. All three guys were left laying with Morrissey's signature moves - Page ate a hell of a Powerbomb, Smith took a variation of an F5, and Evans took an awkwardly-lifted Chokeslam. Stacking all three lads on top of each other for the winning pinfall made for a corker of a scene as Morrissey stood tall.

This was as effective a squash match as there ever has been. W. Morrissey was always going to dominate here, but the trio of goobers' selling made him look like a top-class athlete.

A pre-match promo from Morrissey also saw him accept Eddie Edwards' challenge for a match at Slammiversary, saying that this handicap match was Morrissey's method of helping Eddie prepare for that 17 July outing. The guy is on a level above everyone else right now; a loss to Eddie shouldn't be the case here.
