6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (8 July)

Ups...

6. A God Unhinged

Moose is on a different level right now. He's snapped. His quest this year for the World Championship, where he challenged both Rich Swann and Kenny Omega, has caused him to step up his game, resulting in him laying out Chris Sabin in Swinger's Palace.

Sabin rocked up to the casino room, being informed by Alisha Edwards that Johnny Swinger had important business to handle - framing Sami Callihan, apparently - and instead tried to ask Swingerella number two about her cat's surgery. That's when Moose arrived, cartoonishly slammed Sabin's face against the table more times than he needed to, and feebly elbowed Hernandez in the head.

This just about worked. Moose and Sabin needed a follow-up to last week's six-man tag team match, and this served as that. Moose did far more damage to Sabin than he ever needed to. A simple ambush and slammed into a wall would have sufficed. That he went further is a great description for Moose's current persona in IMPACT.
