6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (8 July)

5. Praise The Good Brothers

Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson's religion-based antics is tremendous patter. Anderson having Gallows praise something every sentence, while Gallows puts on an accent, makes his promo rhyme, and addresses himself and Anderson as 'the Brothers, Good' is great stuff.

The former World Tag Team Champions reentered themselves into the title picture this week, being booked in a four-way title contest at Slammiversary. A preview of said match went down here, with 'The Machine Gun' facing Rich Swann, TJP, and Deaner in an enchanting clash.

This flowed effortlessly. TJP and Swann's exchange was high-paced, with an array of flips and rolls, including a neat Rolling Thunder clothesline from the latter. When Deaner came in, things slowed down considerably. The Violent By Design man was more focused on picking his challengers apart, hence why he spiked Rich with a DDT. Anderson, meanwhile, stayed out of the main action, only properly getting involved towards the end, and getting the job done with a Gun Stun to Deaner.

This hit the right note. Freshness is something you can always guarantee from IMPACT's title pictures, and this was no different. A second four-way awaits next week, with Doc Gallows, Willie Mack, Fallah Bahh, and Joe Doering. That's going to rule just as hard.
