6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT UK (18 March)

Ups...

6. Unhinged

Ilja Dragunov Sam Gradwell
WWE

Ever since he failed in his mission of dethroning WALTER of the NXT UK Championship, Ilja Dragunov has had a bit of a change of character. His matches against Jack Starz and Tyson T-Bone had to see the referee intervene to prevent any further damage to his adversaries before he then went a step too far and got himself disqualified against Sam Gradwell.

He's now set to face Gradwell again next week, this time with no disqualifications.

Gradwell confronted the former wXw standout backstage as he was apologising for his recent outbursts. 'The Thunderstorm' said he would be able to defeat the Russian in any sort of match, including a No Disqualifications Match, leading to the match being signed for next week's show. We've seen what Ilja is capable of in this sort of match, as his match with Imperium's Alexander Wolfe showed at the onset of 2020. With his recent change of attitude, it isn't looking too well for poor Sam Gradwell.
