6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (15 July - Results & Review)

5. Steal From The Best

If you’re going to steal, why not lift material directly from the guy whose mantra was “I lie, I cheat, I steal”?

The comparisons between Dominik Mysterio and his uncle Eddie Guerrero have extended beyond the mullet and Three Amigos, but WWE really went for it on Raw Monday night, with Rhea Ripley wearing an outfit reminiscent of what Chyna wore when she learned that Eddie had cheated on her. They even recreated the backstage tracking shot with Dom following Rhea and begging for forgiveness.

Mysterio isn’t on Guerrero’s level, but he’s managed to do an admirable job in this role, playing the bumbling lothario who can’t stop screwing up (“You belong to me”) and still ends up with Mami by his side by the end of the night.

But like Uncle Eddie, Dominik should not be trusted here. There’s bound to be another twist or two along the way in this awkward love triangle.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
