6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (31 Jan)

3. Dirt Sheet Wins Clean

As confusing as the format for that four-way tag match was, it's true that the right team won.

The Miz and John Morrison were always going to win, sure, though the obvious result shouldn't detract from the fact it was the right one. Perhaps the only downside here is that the announcers hyped Miz and Morrison vs. New Day for Super ShowDown, not WrestleMania.

The 'Dirt Sheet' boys are Saudi Arabia bound then. Looking on the bright side, this might be the first chapter in a feud that could stretch to 'Mania; if the SmackDown Tag Title bout is early on the card in Saudi, there's a chance it'll end via disqualification and allow for some sort of rematch come Houston's big night.

That's acceptable booking, especially when one considers how poor the SmackDown doubles division has been as of late when it comes to pure story. Ideally, WWE will book Miz and Morrison to have Big E and Kofi Kingston's number until Xavier Woods can return from injury and make the difference.
