6. Damage CTRL’s Split Helps Zelina Vega

You might be wondering why a criminally-brief bout like this one gets an 'Up', but there was more to it than what happened bell to bell. Damage CTRL are heading for 'Splitsville'. The group didn't outright splinter on Friday, but it's only a matter of time before IYO SKY cracks Bayley in the jaw (or vice versa).

Bayley distracted the referee here, which stopped IYO from scoring a win. Zelina Vega then capitalised on this hubbub to score the victory herself with a popular 619. The match was short, but it got the job done it needed to. This was a perfect example of the old "maximise your minutes" phrase.

Vega got a tidy win, and the CTRL lot received a few more minutes to tell their story. It's hard to argue with any of that, or with SKY then agreeing to a match with Shotzi on Bayley's behalf afterwards. Fingers crossed the actual split and resultant babyface push for IYO works out.

She deserves a chance.
