Credit where credit is due: WWE started displaying a different side to Roman Reigns during his issues with Seth Rollins at the turn of the year. They've since progressed that combustible personality steadily heading into his 'Mania match vs. Brock Lesnar, and it's working.

The way Reigns went from calm and collected to fiery and shaken up was wonderful.

Michael Cole also needs some praise for putting a bow on Roman's self-confidence-wrecking anger. He wrapped things up perfectly - the "Voice Of WWE" expertly complemented some great mic work from Reigns and Paul Heyman's typically-on point facial expressions.

It's not easy to go out there for 10-15 minutes and promo about a rival who isn't even in the building, but Roman managed it. What's more, he continued his road towards self-destructive madness by playing into Lesnar's hands without the WWE Champ having to lift a finger.

Good times.
