6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (16 March)
1. Good Brothers Want Pulp
FinJuice vs. The Good Brothers II is on for Rebellion.
The new World Tag Team Champions quite easily disposed of Acey Romero and Larry D as a way to bring closure to that story arc. Their continuous homages to iconic tag teams in their repertoire is always great, particularly when they perfectly execute The Rock N Roll Express' double dropkick.
Their different tactics depending on which member of XXXL they faced was also a subtle addition to the match; they were more exquisite in their moves when Larry D was the legal man, whereas they just wailed away at Acey Romero. David Finlay's Acid Drop - a move that deserves more usage - to Larry D ended proceedings here.
Interrupted by Gallows and Anderson post-match, the former champs demanded their contractually obligated rematch, with FinJuice informing them that they'd have to wait until April. A quick brawl before Finlay and Juice Robinson scarpered with the titles was a grand way to extend the rivalry forward, turning the tables as it would normally by Gallows and Anderson bailing at the earliest opportunity.
It wasn't the best match ever, but it served its purpose. The Good Brothers and FinJuice have had a tremendous fued thus far, and it doesn't appear to be ending any time soon. Bring on the second match between them.
