6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (22 Jun - Results & Review)

1. Not Believing A Word He Said

In addition to his cameo during the main event, Seth Rollins appeared during Raw in a pre-taped interview with Corey Graves that was as unconvincing of an interview segment as imaginable.

Rollins spoke as an earnest babyface about his challenges in trying to dismantle The Vision and defeat former protégé Bron Breakker, and how he understood the risks of going into a steel cage with Breakker at Night of Champions.

The Visionary acknowledged that his last World Heavyweight Championship victory wasn’t an upstanding win, but this cage match would tell the world who he his and whether he can put The Vision behind him.

Here’s the problem: Rollins has never been a super-convincing babyface who inspires confidence in him. But now, feuding with the loser stable that even Paul Heyman is trying to distance himself from is not doing Seth any favors. He came across Monday as a guy reading lines and not really believing a word he was saying. And that just makes you feel even less invested in Saturday’s cage match.
