6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 9)

2. No-Selling The Drip Stick

Let’s give Damian Priest a quick kudos for finally doing what likely many of us have screamed at the TV for the past couple of months: ignore the Miz spraying you with a drip stick! It’s just water!

Priest tangled with John Morrison once again Monda, with the two trading strikes and kicks, and at one point countering each other’s offense. JoMo continued to show more and more flashier offense, seemingly telegraphing a face turn down the line, but he was overcome by Damian’s moves, finally falling to a Reckoning.

But as Priest sunk in the hold, Miz sprayed him, only for Damian to laugh, wipe his face and nail Morrison with the Reckoning for the win. Afterwards, he antagonized Miz until he stood up from his wheelchair (it’s a miracle!) and fled.

Still, points to Priest for no-selling the drip stick. It’s about time.
