6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 26)

3. What’s Not To Like?

Riddle John Morrison

The Riddle/John Morrison match had a little bit of everything.

Both men are insanely talented, so even in a match with a bunch of ga-ga, they managed to have a pretty nice little contest. Riddle had a great flurry toward the end, and Morrison as always looked effortless. We got a fair amount of comedy when Miz got some comeuppance with Riddle PK’ing him out of his wheelchair, leaving the Awesome One on his back like a turtle (with Riddle mocking him on the apron).

And the match has AJ Styles and Omos making their presences felt, complete with an after-match beatdown that had fans chanting for Randy Orton (seriously, when was the last time that happened unironically?).

Just like that, we’ve set things up for a possible SummerSlam tag title match between AJ & Omos and RK-Bro – if only Orton can be found before then. Still, this was nicely done overall, all things considered.
