6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 29)

3. RK-Bro Continues Winning Ways

Sometimes, a simple televised title defense is the right way to go for a champion.

In the case of RK-Bro, it’s been necessary to show that despite their backstage friction, the duo is effective in the ring and gets the job done. We got a bit of both here, with Riddle frustrating Randy Orton before their match to the point where Orton called him braindead before backtracking.

In the match, Orton and Riddle managed to dispatch the Dirty Dawgs after a decent back-and-forth match that saw both champs go for stereo RKOs, only to have Dolph Ziggler land a Zig-Zag for a close 2 count on the Viper. Seconds later, Orton nailed an RKO to retain the tag titles.

It’s almost a shame to realize that at some point, this tandem is going to implode, but it’s going to be glorious (sorry Robert Roode) when it does happen.
