6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 29)
2. Women Get Some Serious TV Time
On the one hand, it’s kinda sad that the entire Raw women’s division can fit in one 5-on-5 tag match. On the other hand, a women’s match got 20 minutes.
Yes, the bout itself wasn’t that great – every time Tamina or Carmella got in there, you kind of held your breath and prayed the wheels didn’t fall off – but there was stuff happening, and everyone got a little bit of time to shine. Interestingly, most of the women had active rivalries, with Bianca Belair and Doudrop feuding, Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH and Carmella & Queen Zelina still at odds, and of course, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan slated to go next week.
The finish saw Morgan overcome 4-on-1 odds to nail Tamina with Oblivion for the win, then immediately get jumped by Becks. But Liv fought back and hit the champ with Oblivion as well. While no one is buying Morgan as knocking off Lynch next week, this was a nice way to give Liv some shine without damaging anyone.
