Another week, another episode of Nikki ASH the Human Anchor.

On one hand, it’s good that they’re building the case/story that Nikki keeps costing her team wins (Nikki hasn’t won a singles or tag match in three months) or even her partner. And on Monday, she lost their attempt to regain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

But this story has been going on for quite some time now, well before Survivor Series. We get the point – it’s been hammered home many times over. You can stop driving the point and get to it. Either have Rhea Ripley turn on Nikki, or leave her, or have Nikki abandon her superhero gimmick.

Whatever the next chapter of this story is, it’s well past time to turn the page. Ripley is just withering on the vine here.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
