6 Ups And 1 Down For WWE NXT (Mar 10)

Which WWE NXT stars left the CWC as Champions this week?

Let's be honest, last week's episode of NXT wasn't exactly one for the history books. Watching two of the brand's hottest stars fall to main roster shenanigans in a Women's Tag Team Championship match did anything but leave fans wanting more. However, the promise of two blockbuster announcements and two (or more) NXT Championship matches in seven days time did enough to convince fans it was worth sticking around for the ride.

And thank god they did as the latest edition of Wednesday night goodness hit the ground running with the reveal of a TakeOver game-changer and brand new set of belts to war over. Away from Regal breathing new life into the show, though, a dominant Champion faced her stiffest competition yet. Also, our jaws were left dangling due to the conclusion of an historic tag team affair. And MSK became the new best dressed team in all of WWE.

If that wasn't enough, 'The Prince' would finally get his hands on an Undisputed piece of sh*t in the main event, putting his belt on the line to goad Adam Cole into a one-on-one contest. Would Cole be able to set himself apart as the out-and-out 'Greatest NXT Champion of All Time'? Or would the cat crap all over the superkicker's kitty litter? That sounded better in my head...

Make no mistake about it, this felt like NXT regaining some much needed form in the in-ring and storyline departments, but it wouldn't be Wednesday night without some soul-crushing new directions; something Xia Li found out the hard way.
