6 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (May 11)

7. Ignorance Isn't Bliss

Alexa Bliss was in action on this week's program, taking on the debuting Rachel Ellering. It was the sole women's contest on the show, and the only other appearance from any women (besides Bliss's participation in a backstage segment), was a promo-turned-confrontation featuring Bayley and Nia Jax.

Unfortunately, this match wasn't indicative of the quality of NXT's women's division. Though Bliss is decent enough, this bout was disjointed and slow. Bliss tried to work Ellering's arm over, but there were problems - including a spot where both women seemed completely lost, with no idea what to do.

Thankfully, next week's contest should be better - it was announced that Bayley and Jax will meet then. While it wasn't made official, it can be assumed that the winner of that match will secure an NXT Women's Championship match with Asuka at TakeOver: Revenge. It looks like better things for the division are on the horizon.
