6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 25)

2. We Can See Where This Is Going

Uggh. This is a true Catch-22.

On the one hand, there is praise coming later for how WWE handled Braun Strowman Monday night after they absolutely mishandled the situation at No Mercy. However, it seems clear that WWE is building him back up with one goal in mind…

Put Roman Reigns over.

Sound crazy? Strowman beat Dean Ambrose Monday night, and Seth Rollins asked for a match with Braun next week. Assuming Strowman wins that bout as well, what’s next for the Monster Among Men? A fight against the third member of the Shield would be a logical step. And considering that Brock beat Braun, it would make sense for Roman to have to topple him as well.

If you assume that all roads lead to Brock/Roman at WrestleMania and start working backward, it all makes sense.

Not saying it’s something anyone wants to see, but follow the breadcrumbs since WrestleMania (Undertaker, John Cena) and you can see this coming, come hell or high water.
