6 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Dec 14)
3. Harland Eclipses Gacy On Debut
Say what you want about WWE taking the open goal that was a Brock Lesnar 2.0 in the form of Parker Boudreaux, shaving his head, and dumping him into a partnership with the most unwanted man the brand has to offer, but talent will always find a way to rise.
One glimpse at Harland during his frightening squash of Guru Raaj hints at another performer Vince McMahon will one day salivate at the mere mention of, with the bald badass clubbing, slamming, and powering through the cannon fodder to pick up a savage win in his first outing last night.
These type of squashes don't exactly give us much of an inkling as to whether Boudreaux could hold his own in an extended contest at this current moment in time. But even without this knowledge, the silent enigma has already captivated a crowd much more than his apparent mentor Joe Gacy, whose lazy stares and grins only serve as a reminder that we're never too far away from another round of "triggering" buzz words generating the wrong sort of negative feedback.
More Harland wrecking folks, please. Launching Brian Kendrick down a flight of steps was a d*ck move, however.
