6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 26)

2. Mick Foley Gets Emasculated

Stephanie McMahon is a destroyer. When her claws are out, she'll verbally eviscerate any man stood before without fear of comeuppance. Barely a week passes without her emasculating some poor soul on Monday Night Raw, and recent weeks have seen her sights set firmly on Mick Foley, her increasingly weak General Manager.

This week saw Steph tear into Foley for his handling of the Cesaro/Sheamus situation, but did Mick defend himself? Absolutely not. This is Stephanie McMahon we're talking about: speaking back to her is a cardinal sin, and woe betide anyone who dare suggest she's anything more than a fair, just, and powerful authority figure.

Like a schmuck, Foley soaked-up the punishment without protest, and fell victim to a great deal of bile and venom for daring to suggest that Stephanie and Triple H were in cahoots. At this point, Raw's General Manager has the spine of a jellyfish. His every decision is undermined by the greater power, and instead of justifying himself, he validates Steph's every barb by letting her talk down to him without reprimand.

Foley is clearly being set-up for a fall, but his role is becoming increasingly pointless.
