6 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE No Mercy 2017
1. Tag Title Demolition Derby
Between Cesaro’s missing front teeth and the sheer carnage of the match itself, the Raw Tag Team Championship match was clearly the spectacle of the undercard.
All four men worked hard to deliver a knockout match, with hard-hitting moves that had fans – and some writers – jumping out of their seats. The White Noise-Powerbomb combo was an especially electric moment, with Cesaro powerbombing Seth Rollins off the middle turnbuckle onto a prone Dean Ambrose.
Cesaro’s injury slowed things down momentarily in the middle of the match, but they picked it right back up once it was determined he could continue. The ending, with Sheamus accidentally Brogue Kicking Cesaro before falling to a Kings Landing and Dirty Deeds, was a nice ending that made both teams look strong – it took a miscue for the champs to retain.
A lot of times, you might say that enough is enough and move on to a new feud, but let’s hope that if that’s the case, we see them meet up again.
