5. Soooo… Ambrose Is A Face Again?

By all accounts, including from WWE itself, Dean Ambrose is on borrowed time with the company, so it’s not like he’s going to set the world on fire during his waning time there.

But what is going on with him? He got tossed from the Royal Rumble like nothing; he’s apparently going to be feuding with Nia Jax on the house show circuit; he lost to EC3 last week; and now, he’s apparently turned face.

Ambrose stalked to the ring after Seth Rollins confronted Paul Heyman and simply told his former tag partner and more recent rival, “Slay the beast.” Dean then wrestled EC3 in a match where he worked more as a face than the devious heel he had been for the past several months.

In addition, Ambrose got the win with a rollup, which presumably sets up a rubber match between the two. But after two heatless matches with next-to-no reaction from fans, is there a reason to give us a third?
