4. Brock Lesnar As Attuma
Atlantean warlord Attuma is the most hated nemesis of Namor the Sub Mariner and for good reason. An ancient prophecy stated that Attuma would conquer (presumably, "eat" and "sleep" came first) Namor's kingdom, so he tried to do it. And tried again... and again... and again. While that's how things go in comic books the bad guys take their lumps and status quos don't change terribly often Attuma's out-and-out love for battle and destruction, the army he commands, and his prowess in waging war make him unique. Brock Lesnar is a gladiator living 2,000 years too late. He was born to destroy. War ain't what it used to be, so Lesnar decided to pursue beating people up in the only legal way available. He's a freakish athlete, built like the most hulking of comic book characters, and (in my own damned opinion) the scariest human being on the planet. Imagining him dressed in Attuma's signature chestpiece and helmet sends a shiver down my spine and that's before the blue body paint is added to the mix. Lesnar is a conqueror and a one-man army in his daily life, but on the big screen, with a fleet of angry Atlanteans behind him, he could make the perfect Attuma.
