7 Bad In-Ring Habits That Roman Reigns Needs To Change

4. Working Long Matches With A Limited Moveset

Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker was 23 minutes long at WrestleMania 33. As the headliner, maybe it had to be that length. However, WWE didn't take into account just how long-winded that feels when an ageing Undertaker is in there with someone who doesn't have too many offensive moves other than punches and kicks.

This isn't a rant against that strike-based style, but merely an observation that the company should perhaps think about protecting Roman a little better. What's that old Paul Heyman quote? Accentuate the strengths and hide the weaknesses? WWE ignored it last April in favour of trying to tell an epic tale of war between this generation and the last.

By comparison, Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar lasted less than five minutes and came across as the more exciting, dramatic match on the card. There's a lesson there: Reigns has skills, and they're best-placed in matches around 10-15 minutes so his limited moveset isn't exposed.

It's strange that WWE realised that with Goldberg yet ignored the same problem with Reigns.
