5. Goldust Is Infatuated By Razor Ramon

Goldust Razor Ramon
WWE Network

The WWF had never had a character like Goldust before the Hollywood-loving weirdo popped up on television in late-1995. His dramatic entrances, androgynous appearance and sexual vibes were a far cry from hokey cartoonish jokes like Mantaur or a babyface Doink The Clown; Goldust shared their exaggerated feel, but he was far more provocative.

Just ask Scott Hall.

In years since, Hall has admitted that he (as Razor Ramon) was pretty uncomfortable with the thought of children looking on as he was borderline stalked and groped by this oddball clad in gold. Goldust got a 'Razor' tattoo, blew kisses at his new infatuation and played mind games aplenty with someone he described as a real man.

The wonderful thing about this angle is that it made people feel confused and uneasy. Was Goldust after Ramon personally, or did he want to rattle him enough to steal away the Intercontinental Title?

Everything about the tale was ahead of its time.
