1. Right Before The Current Shield Reunion

That pop The Shield got for reuniting on Raw speaks for itself. Despite what those critical of the decision were saying on social media, the live crowds lapped up seeing Roman Reigns stand alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose yet again. How different things might have been had Reigns 'big-leagued' his cohorts.

Ambrose and Rollins mended fences first. All they needed was Roman to complete the set and reunite the 'Hounds of Justice'. That's when Reigns could have decided he was too big a star on his own to go back to standing in the background only for Seth to stab him in the back. That story would have made perfect sense.

After all, what was in it for Roman? He's successful on his own and had won numerous WWE Titles since splitting from The Shield. If Reigns had teased rejoining but ultimately turned it down, he'd have become a massive heel for depriving the audience of something they craved.
